Process & quality
From filtered water to your freezer.
Every batch follows the same five stages, backed by hygiene practice we hold ourselves to on every shift.
How the ice gets made
The same five stages, run every day the plant is open.
Source & filter
Water is drawn and passed through on-site filtration to a food-grade standard before freezing.
Freeze
Purified water is frozen in temperature-controlled tunnels, timed for clarity and density.
Cut & shape
Ice is cut, crushed or moulded to size — block, cube, tube or flake.
Cold storage
Finished ice moves straight into enclosed storage held at −18°C.
Load & deliver
Insulated vehicles dispatch orders across the region, day or night.
Quality & hygiene
Water you'd drink, ice you can trust.
Everything that touches the ice is treated as if it's going straight into a drink — because most of it is.
Purified source water
Filtered and tested before it ever reaches a freezing tunnel.
Food-grade handling
From freeze to bag, ice is handled to food-safety practice.
Enclosed cold storage
Finished stock is held in temperature-controlled rooms, not open air.
Insulated delivery fleet
Ice leaves cold and arrives cold — no melt, no mess.
Trained plant operators
Every shift is run by staff trained on hygiene and handling procedure.
Regular water testing
Source and product water is tested on a routine schedule, not once a year.
Testing & standards
We test source and product water on a routine schedule and are working toward formal food-safety certification for the plant. Certification marks will be added here once issued — if you already hold any (HACCP, local health department approval, and so on), add them alongside this section.
Common questions
Is your ice safe to put directly in drinks?
Yes. All ice is made from filtered, purified water and handled to food-grade practice from freeze to bag.
Do you test your water?
Source and product water is tested on a routine schedule, not just once a year.
Can we visit the plant?
Visits can be arranged for regular or prospective bulk customers — get in touch to set up a time.
