Our story
Kwa Shuben started in Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, hiring out TLB machinery and supplying sand, stone, cement and ready-mix concrete to builders across the uMzinyathi district. Our ice division grew out of that same yard — a purpose-built freezing plant that now supplies bagged and block ice to bars, fisheries, spaza shops and event organisers well beyond the district line.
It runs on the same standard the group is known for on site: equipment that's looked after, a fleet that shows up, and product that's ready when it's needed — not sometime after.
TLB hire, sand & stone
Kwa Shuben starts out in Msinga hiring earthmoving equipment and supplying sand, stone and cement to local builders.
Ready-mix concrete
The group adds ready-mix concrete and a bigger fleet, taking on larger contracts across the uMzinyathi district.
The ice plant
A purpose-built freezing plant goes up on the same yard, using purified water to produce block, cube, tube and flake ice.
Beyond the district
Kwa Shuben Ice supplies hospitality, fisheries, events, retail and construction customers well beyond Msinga's borders.
